Join us at Jacques Reymond's l'Hotel Gitan for a delicious and pleasant Friday evening filled with food and fine wine.
We are looking forward to getting back into the rhythm of things and getting to know more of you personally. Family styled share menu with an array of flavours and proteins to compliment the nights wines.
Of course Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be catered for.
As we all know any wine dinner regardless of the theme must start with Champagne. We will meet, greet and settle with an NV Marcel Moineaux Blanc de Blancs from Chouilly in the Cotes de Blancs.
We will then travel down to Puligny-Montrachet where we will taste through 4 wines from Domaine Alain Chavy. From his Bourgogne through to Premier Cru we will talk all things style and terroir.
We will then head north to visit a couple of wines from Domaine Charlopin-Tissier. A very new producer with his first vintage in 2014. These will be very interesting to look at together.
We will finish on an old staple of The French Wine Centre, Domaine Pierre Amiot. We will explore their Gevrey-Chambertin catalogue, a villages and Premier Cru Aux Combottes.
