Domaine Agnès et Didier Dauvissat, Chablis
If you know these wines or are a fan of mineral airy Chablis, the most important thing you need to know is that Agnès, Didier and Florent produced just 20% of their regular harvest in 2021. This fact, coupled with the incredible demand that has come about in just a year or two for these wines, means they will be gone even quicker than the 14 days it took to sell out last December!
*The below wines were tasted just after harvest last year. They either had finished their fermentation or were still fermenting at the time. As such, I do not have tasting notes.
This being said, I can state that these wines in their infancy had magnificent acid, minerality and vibrancy that we haven't seen in many years. The cooler, difficult conditions in 2021 is resulting in markedly fresh wines that so many of us have been yearning for, for many years, from Burgundy.

Just above the lake before entering Beine from Chablis. This is actually from Côte de Savant which is a subdivision of Beauroy.

Very ‘airy’ and mineral, delicate citrus pith, lovely salinity and grapefruit pith.
The palate shares the vibrancy of the above two wines but turned up a notch. More present minerality that seems to stretch for what seems like an eternity. Again, this is a sensational effort. A brilliant vintage for the Beine Dauvissats. - Jono Hersey, FWC
